Great pics, action packed and lots of comments. Amadan said it’s an ‘iSpot classic’. I agree!

Yes - good shot of an entirely new-to-me, possibly/probably rare, and fairly easy to agree with beetle. “What’s not to like?”

My Own
Favourite (previous?) Lockdown Observation.

Just a really captivating photo.

This well-taken photo is pleasing but also a little frustrating - you just can’t see the detail you would like:

What are they, though? Are they some kind of Hymenoptera? Maybe Symphyta? But the antennae just seem rather long, and the body articulates midway. Anyone have any ideas?

A well-crafted post, but the tree steals the limelight for me.

Yes, lovely, thanks. Not Ben’s first gorgeous sequence https://www.ispotnature.org/communities/uk-and-ireland/view/observation/772444/
Do always find time to look at a few Other Obs - it is very rewarding.

Python spotted in New Forest? need to read comments.

Another one of my observations but this one partly because I am wondering if there is an issue with the name as this Hypomyces does not seem to show up much in web searches.

Top of the scale for Gorgeousness…One of a series of Nudibranch observations from South Africa. All of them are worth a look.

Very nice 10 yr old connected video here (Mike’s new Project).
Should we add videos more often? We all have good video cameras!

Near to it, in YouTube, I found this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lTFugHA2WaI.

Mike’s observation should carry a stink warning!
Artemis of isles often includes a video link like this one of a heron.

I do sometimes follow links to videos but it can take a bit more time. Sometimes the subject is one that lends itself to clarification by video - this one of Mike’s shows well what the flies are about. Brilliant!

Thanks, had to set it up rather carefully to avoid scaring them all off.

While i much prefer real ales (pale with hoppy emphasis in particular) to lager, one very notable exception is Corona. That’s a top 5 favourite of mine. How about that? I really like it’s ‘easy-going’, almost soft drink (echoes of the 70’s brand?) balance.
I somehow missed this post, but just read and enjoyed all the comments it drew. And that’s a great pic. Seems the Mexican tipple is popular with Kermit the Frog too.
As for the suddenly unfortunate name, i saw a cartoon a while back which depicted the interior of a fridge. On one side of the shelf, a carton of milk, a block of cheese and other items were tightly huddled in a corner behind a huge communal face mask, staring petrified across a big empty space at a bottle of Corona on the other.
