‘World’s most dangerous bird’ screams the headline:
Their « size, speed and power combined with their dagger-like, 10cm claws « may reflect their dinosaurian antecedents.
Should this be the correct headline?
Just reading bits - have been trying to breed the giant, flightless birds for more than 25 years.
The cassowary chick is the first born in the UK since 2021.
first time at a bird park in the Cotswolds.
The chick is only the fourth to hatch in Europe this year
Are they ever returned to the wild?
Most dangerous bird in the world might be correct (unless you give that title to the chicken for being a host of salmonella and bird flu, or some raptor that knocks you over cliffs, or …). But the factoid isn’t relevant to the story, so it isn’t justifiable to include it in the headline.
