A 2022 Scottish police drama Granite Harbour series 1 on BBC iPlayer, has a tedious scene in a graveyard in the final episode. There is a bird calling throughout (or rather they have used the same bird call repeatedly). Does anyone know what it is please? I suspect it is a bird of prey, but not the usual peregrine call that is used on any drama set in Scotland or the Lake District.
I have not seen the program but a particular american bird (possibly same recording) has been used more or less since beginning of sound on film to convey a certain mood. Hope it is not that one.
