I entered a five-figure grid ref, accurate to 3 metres according to the GPS app. It was truncated to 3 digits with a pink error box. The 3-digit ref is precise to 100 metres which is fine if your organism’s a bird or large tree but not much help in finding a lichen or door snail. The map looks right though. Why not show the whole thing?
Yes, the displayed result is always the same 6 or 4 figs refs. But, as you see here, it is possible to post to the exact metre.

The Lat/long is always very accurate. I am not posting much in iSpot at the moment but whenever I do, from now on, I will add the 8 fig, (or at least the 6) ref to the Location notes.
