im hoping to become a journalist. so im hopeing to join a college and then go to university. but I need a level 4 in English and litriture or maths. -GCSE. I didnt do GCSEs at school and college cause of my learning disability cause it would of been too hard. for this reason I dont have the grades but im hoping to go to a college like gloucester college then if I get a level 4 in GCSE in at Gloucester college to go to Gloucester unoversity and do the journilism course I can do it properly. but for now I have been learning what i need to know and the how to write a news report and report the news for now and im trying to come up with ideas for what to report on so that I can practice until I can go to college and then go to university and do the journalism course does anyone have any ideas to help me think of ideas to go out and practice makeing a news report and go out, look for and report on? so far I have found out some things that are important to my local area for now which is water pollution, air pollution and I have got ideas from my trips of what I could write about. a fishermen came to the pond between b and m and let us watch him fish in it and said i could take a picture if he catches one. he said theres lots of fish in there and named some. so fishing is one idea iv come up with. the second idea was hedgehogs cause I saw a hedgehog at the other new place called green farm orchard. the next idea im still unsure of even though iv visited herfordshire canal. however some strangers walked past some swans slowly both complaining and laughing with each other about how the swans and there young were hissing at them for walking less than a cm from them and there young to the point it tryed to apear bigger than them and looked like it was going to chase them off and it looked like they were going fishing. there was a large part next to the path where I walked across past them that they could of taken instead but they chise to walk right next to them saying there horrible and agressive and then laughing together about it. which was very unwise and they almost got chased cause of it. the swans had been just swimming up and down the canal not bothered by me or anyone else cause there used to people. then of course they came up on land with there young sitting down and preening. I kept my distance then as they would likely be protective and passed with no problom but then the teenagers knowing they were there then walked past so close they could touch them which then caused the hissing and agressive behavior. I commented that they should of kept there distance since they came on land with young. then a question was brought up by the person with me about weather it is private fishing or not and they didnt look like professional ones. I dont know if any of these storys will help anyone else with ideas and if anyone one has any ideas to help me come up with ideas let me know

any ideas of any themes I could write about related to the envirement

Be wary of climate change.
You will be sacked by the editor if you say anything about what causes ice ages.
Editors are worshipping man made climate change like a religion.
If anyone thinks ice ages were ended by man made climate change I would very much like to know where they got there time machines from.

Here is an example of how I unpick a news story if it is any help to you.

The one I unpicked was covid vaccines.
It came out that one of them causes blood clots quite early on.
I engaged myth busting mode and looked at who was given the vaccine early.
Lots of the people who qualified for early vaccines had long term illnesses. Many of these actually caused blood clots anyway covid or no covid and vaccine or no vaccine.
The risk of the vaccine actually causing a blood clot is very close to zero because the sample was far from representative of the general population.
Myth busted!
