Favourites 2025

The only additions to my changes list today are your two edits to your own Guernsey fleabane observation (the one with the long comment trail). (iSpot has just decided to fail, preventing me looking at the two observations you mention, not that it is strictly necessary.)

The favouriting of the first one hasn’t shown up in my changes tracker, though I would have expected it to. Possibly because there were no actual differences between successive runs of the changes tracker.

Thanks. It seems that ‘unfavouriting’ will not cause consternation among us. (My edit of my Guernsey fleabane was to acknowledge your contribution to the correct ID. )

Given my experience over the years with these shy and elusive creatures, this is sufficient to make me wonder about whatever pact with the powers of darkness has been made to allow such observations. Twice…
No, really, just superb!

There is good advice here:

.
Really important to let the doctor know that you have been bitten, or have been in a tick area, rather than be fobbed off with take some paracetamols and have a rest. Don’t be fooled into thinking that walking on paths is safe.

How about this for an exciting observation… just imagine being there and seeing it as David did.

Yep, not to be missed! Thanks, JoC
