Have you got Habitat missing from observations

‘Habitat’ used to be an option item to add to observations so it was sometimes missed off either accidentally or deliberately.

If anyone is interested in a list of their observations where habitat is not shown, so they can edit it in, then I can send them a list.

The kind of thing to tidy up observations during the winter but also a way of looking back at a bunch of your own observations and remembering the nice walk you were having at the time.

If you want a list then probably best to contact me via the contact button at the bottom of most pages on ispot.

Thanks Mike - I’m having lots of gremlins (seem to have lost my maps at the moment), but I still enjoy iSpot. I nave always date tagged my observations and saved them by date on my computer mostly with the remarks of who I was with - makes for lovely memories, especially of those folks who are no longer with us.
I also enjoy looking back at comments before the exodus. Do you think they miss us?

Don’t know if they miss us or not, Tony for one quite often looks in I think and it is quite possible that others do too even if they usually don’t comment.
If it helps I could send you a list of all your ispot observations as a spreadsheet or indeed on a map, might aid checking for duplicates, sort by date, family etc

Thanks Mike - I’ve started a system and do check for duplicates - my only real problem is the observations that got lost from the dictionary when we had updates, but think there aren’t many - I’m amazed at how many Peninsula species I’ve never encountered - possibly because my focus was mostly south.
Have you had a look at the BOLUS collection that have been recently scanned?
Then am sad to find two of my favourite sites Operation Wildflower and Casabio have changed and my links no longer work.
