Is the floating plant, water hyacinth?
Does it need Richard?
Oops - wrong brother.
I think it is water hyacinth.
So what controls Victoria? The film suggests all other flora is eliminated, but that’s not a sustainable situation in real life. I can see it happening in Kew Tropical house but the images show a mountain in the background which wasn’t there last time I was in Kew. Which, come to think of it, is far too long ago. Must get out more.
I agree the swollen one I think is water hyacinth, One of the others is water lettuce Buy water lettuce Pistia stratiotes in the Araceae!
