I thought that this might interest some of you botanists. I like the fact that James keeps things simple and includes some nice photos.

Yes facinating but as they say the big thing is getting it written up. There are various local/county floras that have had huge amounts of fieldwork but were never written up. Sometimes is needs a very different kind of person to organise the writing up even if the originator of the project is still there to contribute quite large chunks of the text.
James Common has a very good website - I first came across him in connection with ladybirds. My brother-in-law lives up there, very close to some great nature reserves. So I know the area a certain amount.
