Cliffs, guards and being taken for a corpse, my quest to find 1,000 wild plants in 1 year

BBC One Show naturalist and budding urban botanist Mike Dilger challenged himself to find 1,000 wild British plant species over the course of an eventful 12 months.

What a wonderful quest.

If you’re travelling the country 1,000 species shouldn’t be out of reach; I can get to 800 or 900 species over half of two counties. (Though I got further afield in 2019 without more species.)
