Plants in flower out of season

At home I have Cyclamen coum flowering, and Malva arborea in bud. While on a short walk in town this afternoon I saw Tristagma uniflorum and Anemone coronaria in flower.

Update: And two days later I saw Cyclamen coum in flower on a patch of grass (site known since 2000) on the way to B&Q.

Are we going to do christmas day or new years day or some other plant bioblitz looking for things in flower. I know bsbi does one BSBI New Year Plant Hunt – Botanical Society of Britain & Ireland but ispot has also done similar.

‘Someone’ is doing Christmas Days and a New year Blitz
See then, the VERY rarely referenced but regularly updated
https://www.ispotnature.org/communities/uk-and-ireland/view/project/841419/
I cannot check it because the main site is DOWN (for me) 17th 10:12

PLEASE don’t miss it

UK & Ireland ???
ispot supports a global community, so I assume we are welcome to join in.

It is meant to be UK&I as it is not a Global Community Project. I do find it time-consuming keeping UP with annual Projects and my Global ones get very little input.
I have CHANGED the Map Filter temporarily, to allow Global ones come it. It remains a UK&I community project
I will have to relent IF it produces filtering difficulties. Let’s see your location via an Observation or two (test the map and filter please)
SORRY to be a bit slow in response…

It DID (fail)
The moment I changed the Collection map to the Project it LEFT the home page and the link FAILED
So I have reinstated it.
You can create a parallel Global Community Project. I may do a test

If it’s meant to be just UK& Ireland, so be it.
