I’m sure there are going to be lots of conflicting names to sort out.
Recently I have been adding the Kew accepted name and link when I update or add an observation (even though uncertain)
So before I get totally befuddled by the conflicts I’m passing these on and hope I may be able to assist when I come across others - not sure how. NOTE not every one in the SA Botany hierarchy is in accord.
So see this Cullumia setosa (L.) R.Br (ignoring the var. this time)
GBIF didn’t like the var, so I took it out and got
Cullumia setosa Sieber ex DC.
This is a synonym of Polyarrhena reflexa subsp. reflexa Cullumia setosa Sieber ex DC. | Plants of the World Online | Kew Science
VERY DIFFERENT
Do I need to alert someone - or will it all sort itself out eventually?
