I know phenology is the timing of plant life-cycle events, such as flowering or leaf opening, etc. But that is not enough for me to understand your data. Can you give me a clue?
The horizontal axis is day of year (skipping 29th February). The vertical axis is records for each day, scaled to the maximum number of records for a date. The narrower vertical lines divide the year up into months.
