HATE them but Bold and Italics are quite useful.

Not sure if this is the right “Taxonomy” trail to use - apologies if not and also if it’s already known.

Just added an ant observation under Lasius, which is what I wanted.
It’s likely to be L.niger and I noticed there are two entries for this here:

There is another more up to date thread here Dictionary & Browser Issues - #239 by dejayM please add it there.
We are not entirely wasting our time, though it seems so, because IF we can keep these issues in one place, we might be able to hold them in front of Admin when they next (or before they) embark on another collaboration.
This thread is three years out of date, the other is fairly current. We are all quite jaded over this issue (aren’t we?) because NOTHING is done and there is no collation going on.
We need an alphabetical list of Dictionary and Browser errors. I know someone who is fed up making indexed lists.

Thx, Dejay - now shifted.

Very nice, had always been a bit suspicious of those triangles.
Actually taxonomists and phylogeneticists (if that is a word) can be at each others throats as phylogeny is ‘correct’ (until more markers come along and horizontal gene transfer is considered) but almost impossible to implement when wanting to give a manageable taxonomy.

Thanks Ian, a good start to the day.
