Update on G. argenteum. GBIF still has the wrongly identified Geraneum argenteum. L. So I have now emailed PlantNet to ask them how they deal with reports of erroneus data, which have been trawled and displayed by GBIF database. . I’m not holding my breath, but maybe they’ll respond.

I have been documenting my progress on getting an error on GBIF monitored.

So now I have a response to share… but I can’t post it becuase there is a 3 item limit.

So if somebody can reply to the most recent of my posts there with a “Have you heard anything yet?” I can post the very positive reply I just received.

I have just added the PlantNet response to the Renaissance Forum item on Geranium argenteum, which is where it belongs.

It was very pleasing to get a response fromPlantNet at Montpellier; my doubts with PlantNet are decreasing.
