This made me laugh! This is insect week after all.
Yes it was very funny. I think the Spider must of thought I would make a good shrub or support for its thread.
unfortunately I’m not a shrub though So i wouldn’t be able to stay still for as long as it needs me too so I couldnt fufil that role in the ecosystem even though the spider wanted me to.
In the spiders defence I do get lots of insects land on me sometimes useing me as a perch before flying off or just crawling or flying on me cause I just happen to be there.
I sit or stand still and wait for a long time to see if something will show up and see what I can see sometimes. So I guess I could of fufiled more than one role in that sense rather than just a support for the thread
But due to being human I probably wouldnt of been able to keep the shrub role up for 24 hours. I’m pretty sure I would have lots of insects land me too during that time frame but how much support I give the thread I will eventually have to move so I don’t think that would support the thread for long
