I seem to have blinked! Good subject, quite accessible and there are so many observations.

GET READY
Playing taxi driver today, and killing time in a car park, I idly tried to modify the old carol. The result is pretty poor, but maybe someone can polish it up in time for the festivities:
On the twelfth day of Christmas, iSpot showed to me
Twelve Eyebright hybrids
Eleven fungi puzzling
Ten moths bemusing
Nine dictionary errors
Eight warblers lurking
Seven ichneumons baffling
Six galls a-galling
Five Amadan mis-IDs
Four autocorrect typos
Three newts annoying
Two vetches vexing
And a seaweed from Orkney
Absolutely love this - brilliant!
It was initially, “five invalid IDs”.But I thought that too easy a target.
